WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

The Friends of Newark Castle and Victorian Gardens is a group of like-minded people working together to promote and enhance the wonderful castle at the heart of the town.
We do this through fundraising, applying for grants and working with site owner Newark and Sherwood District Council to improve the castle and its grounds.
Previous successful projects have included the Knights Templar display and the Lady Manners room exhibits.
We are currently supporting the district council on its ambitious, multi-million-pound Gatehouse restoration project.
